This is what the world is up against. An organisation that sees itself as superior, exceptional and indespensible in a world full of enemies that are a "threat to US national security interests"; those interests being defined quite arbitrarily and with complete disregard for the interests of any country or regional grouping that does not recognise and submit to US global hegemony.
