A property definition statement at the top of the page (c.f. "KeyProperties & key_property_headers") could define, for example, search_item="Regime-change effort", search_filter="hasCause=US & start>=1945" (in whatever syntax seems helpful). This would require some tweaks to SMWDocs, so it worked from "search_item" rather than pagename (so "search_item" could work similarly to how "display_documentType" does - by swapping in a special value in some cases, mostly just using another property, in this case, the pagename). Development

Currently this works just like any other subject, using SMWDocs, although I recommend that this might be worth changing before too long. There is of course a lot of work to do about... But in an effort to avoid repeated work, I'm noting down a development plan for such pages before too much data gets added in a relatively low grade SMW format.

A property definition statement at the top of the page (c.f. "key_properties & key_property_headers") could define, for example, search_item="Regime-change effort", search_filter="hasCause=US & start>=1945" (in whatever syntax seems helpful). This would require some tweaks to SMWDocs, so it worked from "search_item" rather than pagename (so "search_item" could work similarly to how "display_documentType" does - by swapping in a special value in some cases, mostly just using another property, in this case, the pagename).
