Alexander Vasilyevich Konuzin is a Russian diplomat.[1] He speaks English and French.

Background

In 1971 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Career

Since 1971 - in diplomatic work. He worked in embassies in Cameroon (1971-1973), Gabon (1974-1978), Algeria (1981-1986).

  • 1991-1996 - Counselor of the Embassy of the USSR/Russian Federation in the French Republic.
  • 1996-2001 - Senior Advisor, Deputy Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
  • 2001-2005 - Senior Advisor, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN in New York.[2]
  • 2005-2008 - Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
  • March 27, 2008 - September 26, 2012 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia[3]. On April 18, 2008, he presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Serbia, Boris Tadic.
