Document talk:The Brussels bombings: no, Islamist terrorism is not a response to a western war on Islam

Can't believe it!!!

I am surprised and bemused by the inclusion of this article on WS. Both the description - which may well be an accurate reflection of its actual content (I haven't read it) - but more particularly by the Comment. Barder is clearly quintessential Establishment. The idea that so-called ISLAMIC terrorism is unconnected with the west's incessant treachery and beligerancy in the ME is frankly risible; as is the idea that our security services - or more particularly the senior deep-state figures to whom they ultimatly answer - are incapable of agent-provocateuring, steering and facilitating terrorist attacks when judged necessary; as is the idea that terrorism originates with 'Islamists', rather than those who provoke, facilitate and steer them. What on earth do you think both Gladio and Gladio/B was/is all about anyway? The entire MSM sings from that hymn sheet' and WS is NOT about helping them in their self-righteous absurditites. The article has no place on this site. Accordingly, I am nominating it deletion

Also, please note, the document template is intended to provide the meta-data for the full article, NOT meta-data only. So please, if used, include all the article text as well. --Peter P (talk) 08:04, 26 March 2016 (GMT)

I obviously haven't mastered document creation, yet. And I agree Peter: Delete!--Patrick Haseldine (talk) 10:27, 26 March 2016 (GMT)
Thanks Patrick. I hope that didn't appear too censorious either. It's just that I encounter Barder's general approach all over the place and I am thoroughly exasperated by it - and constantly sniping at it too. The idea seems to be that we may have been an itsy-bit bad at times (bad apples mistakes, but always of noble intent etc - that sort of thing); even VERY bad 'but that was long ago' - but certainly not as bad as the real wicked baddies du-jour who we must now wage perpetual war against until the last baddie is dead - ie forever; the system has its shortcomings but nothing that cannot be fixed by a bit of adjustment, per the silly prescriptions of this that or the other author - each vying for personal recognition as Guru of establishment criticism. 'Childish and futile' does not come close to describing its stupidity and I want nothing to do with it. I could go on but I'll go make me a coffee instead :-) ..... --Peter P (talk) 10:54, 26 March 2016 (GMT)
