Not to be confused with fellow US Bilderberger Robert B. Anderson

Robert Orville Anderson was a US Big Oil executive. He attended the 1973 Bilderberg which preceded the "oil shock".

Career

"He was an oilman who warned of global warming caused by fossil-fuel consumption in the 1980s, and more than once advocated higher taxes on his industry. He rescued two flailing publications, The Observer, a British newspaper, in 1977, and Harper's magazine in 1980."

Anderson attended the 1973 Bilderberg which preceded the "oil shock".

Death

Anderson died aged 90, from complications of a fall.[1]
