I first became interested in para-politics when I read about the Bilderberg Group prior to the real take-off of the Internet. At that point there was precisely no coverage of the group in the media at all, and I mean nothing (whether press on the left, right or even extreme left and right), so at first I just thought it was a myth. I did a bit of digging around, including writing to EU Commissioners and found that the Bilderberg Group did exist and was well attended by members of the elite. It was a bit of a Damascus moment to realise that the media I relied on to inform me - all the media - had kept me and everyone else in the dark for so long. Actually, it was more like coming out of Plato's cave...
