Senior US spook who claimed "diplomatic immunity" and then fled the UK after an accident in which a motorcyclist was killed.

Anne Elizabeth Goodwin Sacoolas is a CIA officer. She was named by Sky News as the driver involved in a crash in the UK which killed a 19 year old motorcyclist.[1] The US State Department claimed that she had diplomatic immunity, but the UK FCO did not accept this. She fled to US on a USAF plane and the US government denied an extradition request.

Anne Sacoolas wrote around 7 weeks after the crash to Dunn's family to express her “deepest sympathies and apologies”.[3]
