Henry George Hogger CMG is a retired UK diplomat. He was listed as a member of the Institute for Statecraft.

Career

Henry Hogger entered the UK Diplomatic Service in 1969. He was UK/High Commissioner to Namibia from 1992-1996 and British Ambassador to Syria from 2000-2003.

"In 2003, Hogger worked as the governorate coordinator for Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq. There, he led multinational, civil/military teams, provided political advice, and supervised reconstruction projects. His work was commended, and he was recognized by an award of the Order of St Michael and St George."[1]
