Censorship

Reddit Censorship.jpg

Reddit, to quote one subscriber "has been compromised for a very long time".[1] It has been, and presumably still is, subject to various forms of censorship[2] and the official rules for how the site works are not followed with posts of deep political relevance.[3]

Pizzagate

On 24 November 2016, Reddit banned the sub-reddit /r/PizzaGate "due to a violation of our content policy. Specifically, the proliferation of personal and confidential information. We don’t want witchhunts on our site."[4][5] The PizzaGate investigation was continued at voat.co[6] and by the Corbett Report,[7] leading to comments about the "Wrong side of history" and the Streisand Effect.[8]
