Pattern of NATO tactical signs
TACMAR refers to markers on the back of US road signs that have been observed in the 2010s.

TACMAR (for Tactical Marking, other acronyms are possible)[1] refers to an observation that there are military "code-signs" on the backs of US road signs.[2]

By some sources these are connected to "UNITED STATES CIVIL DISTURBANCE PLAN 55-2",[3] aka Operation Garden Plot.[4] This military plan involves the handling of civil disturbances through massive relocations of the populace via airlifts, mass transit, and rail to “SAFE ZONES” away from affected areas under martial law.[5]
