The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) is a German newspaper founded in 1949. It is published daily in Frankfurt.
History
The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung does not consider itself a successor organisation to the Frankfurter Zeitung (1856-1943), even though many former journalists of the earlier paper helped launch it in 1949.
