Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a system of negotiation that was conceived by US psychologist Marshall Rosenberg.

Avoiding labels

NVC encourages people to avoid labelling others or imputing motives or feelings to them. Instead it recommends that people explore their own feelings and learn to express them without use of enemy images or judgments about others. Important at any time, this approach is particularly salutary as an antidote to the smoke and mirrors associated with deep politics.

Importance on Wikispooks

Wikispooks' main aim is to dispel the illusions of the deep political world by presenting as simple a record as possile of what happened, who said what when and where. This is why we use the NVC approach, seeking to minimize the use of loaded language, including hero images, but especially enemy images.[1]
