The Bundestag is the German parliament.
Since 1999, it has been housed in the Reichstag in Berlin.

Change in the security situation
It was reported in 2019 that the area is to be fitted with a dry trench in a substantial anti-terror reinforcement of the German parliament.[1][2] Possibly in anticipation of a situation that is not unlike that in Belgium[3] / Brussels for the last decade.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
