Dr Iain Fleming Elliot was Associate Director of Radio Liberty and also worked in other intelligence-connected organizations.

Activities

Iain Elliott attended the June 1983 meeting of Le Cercle.[1] In 1985 he was on the board of the Institute for European Defence and Strategic Studies.[2]

He was Associate Director of the (CIA-funded) Radio Liberty and former editor of Soviet Analyst. He attended the 1988 British American Project gathering in St Louis.[3][4]

He was chairman of the The Britain-Russia Centre and The British East-West Centre from 1993 to 2000.[citation needed]

At the EGM of the London-Russia Society (now the Great Britain - Russia Society) on the 27th of February 2003 Iain Elliot was elected as an Honorary Life Member of the Society for his outstanding contribution to the development of understanding between Britain and Russia.[5]
