Jarosław Aleksander Kaczyński is a Polish politician who is currently serving as leader of the Law and Justice party, known by it's acronym PiS. He co-founded it in 2001 with his twin brother, Lech Kaczyński, who served as president of Poland until his death in the Smolensk air disaster in 2010, of which Jarosław thinks Russian intelligence was involved.[1]

Opinions

Kaczyński has an aversion against Germany and it's ambitions to dominate the EU.[2][3] He says that German economic success in the last decades were actually an attempt to repeat the construction of the former Reich of Chancellor Bismarck: German rule, but side by side with Russia.[4]

“You can't constantly support a great power like Russia with billions in payments from the purchase of energy," [...] "This is inadmissible from a political and moral point of view. This must come to an end, and Germany should finally take a clear stance on this,”
Jarosław Kaczyński (03 April 2022)  [5]
