The Israelites emerged from within the Canaanite population to establish the Iron Age kingdoms of Israel and Judah.[32] Judaism emerged from Yahwism, the religion of the Israelites, 6 centuries BCE. The emergence, rise and wars with the Roman Empire caused a lot of jews to flee the middle east. This created a group of larger Jews that spread all over Europe until the 1900s, mostly in Western Europe, Spain and other countries surrounding Persia and the Ottoman Empire, until the 1950s, most Jews lived in Europe, and New York. WW2 and the prosecution of civilian Jews known in an event known as the Holocaust sped up international support for the foundation of the country of Israel and caused most Jewish Europeans to move to there after the 1950s, helped by UK, and American deep lobbying with some help from the Israeli Deep state.

Antisemitism is hostility to, prejudice towards, or discrimination against Jews. In recent times, this plastic word has been used to also refer to any criticism of Israel.

Throughout the 2,000 years of the Jewish Diaspora, there has been specifically Jewish influence and involvement in pretty well all historic events of significance. Oft-times that influence/involvement has been of great - even determining - importance. For most of this time, the role of Jews in these events has been well understood and openly discussed by both the elites and populations of their host countries. But since the end of World War II any such discussion, other than in the context of the Jews as history's eternal victims, has become taboo. One of the effects (and thus by inference a purpose) of this taboo, is to protect the victor's history of the war as "The Good War" from academic research and inquiry that does not rigidly conform to the taboo.

Wikipedia is a wonderful idea, brilliantly implemented, but it was always bound to have weaknesses as regards hot topics. Enough biased editors would always be able to skew articles on any particular topic - and nationalist topics are the worst affected. One can find all kinds of head-to-head disputes over, say, small countries in Eastern Europe, where there is lots of news badly covered by professional journalists and hence easily distorted. What, is noted, though, is a sometimes, overly defense of Israeli interests on the English Wikipedia.

• CAMERA's Wikilobby and it's downfall is described in the Boston Globe, April 2008. The "Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America" was caught attempting to create administrators who will keep "Israel-related entries on Wikipedia from becoming tainted by anti-Israel editors".[1] The battle against hasbara from this source is by no means over - see here, part of the fight-back to defend using such a favourite source and deny the trickery attempted. See here for a typical (and entirely unwarranted) attack on the outside source that provided the evidence to expose CAMERA's tricks.

Despite accusations made at the time of the CAMERA affair, there seems to be no evidence (or indeed reason to suspect) that there has been unwarranted cooperation or collusion or organisation amongst Wikipedia editors tending to be critical of Israel. A close look at the listing here shows no evidence of weeding articles tainted, if not overwhelmed, with Zionist propaganda.

After the foundation of Israel, the Israeli government has committed some war crimes against anyone deemed a threat to the countries borders. This has even included the US in the US Liberty. The mentality of the Jewish people has been somewhat akin to that it needs to do everything that's needed to avoid a genocide, creating a sort of catch-22, causing substantial amounts of Israeli people to elect leaders to commit war crimes against Arabs in their country and region.
